Roscoe Village Burger Fest (July 18-20)
Another neighborhood fest that promises a fun day with the family. Known for their food stalls from leading burger joints, this festival is popularly known as Chicago’s “Ultimate patty party”. Apart from the food, there will be live bands, a kids’ zone, and an art & craft section.
Ravenswood on Tap (July 19-20)
Are you a beer lover? Then this is a must-attend festival for you. Held in Chicago’s beloved “Malt Row” neighborhood, it is attended by local breweries and distilleries. There will be food trucks to complement the beers, as well as live music to ramp up the fun. There is no entry fee, but a suggested donation fee, drinks, and food are extra costs. This is a cash-only event, but don’t worry, there will be ATMs on site.
Lake County Fair (July 23-27)

Taste of River North (July 18-19)

Colombian Fest (July 18-20)
Celebrate the Colombian/Hispanic culture in this event that is going to be held in Humboldt Park, North Ave. From performances by Grammy winners to parades, and of course, all types of Colombian food, this festival is a must for those who love the Hispanic culture. Entry is free on Friday, and kids under 13 get free entry
with an adult.
Tacos y Tamales Festival (July 18-20)
Another neighborhood festival that celebrates all things Hispanic, this event is going to be held in Blue Island Ave between Ashland & Wolcott. As the name suggests, expect all kinds of food from Latin America as well as signature drinks like Sangria, margaritas, and more. Admission is free, but there is a suggested donation amount.
Renegade Craft Fair (July 19-20)
A weekend event that is held in N Kedzie Blvd between W Fullerton Ave & Palmer Square, Logan Square, from 11 AM to 6 PM is a much-awaited craft fair. From jewelry to ceramics to skincare, over 250+ makers attend this fair. If you are someone who loves authentic handmade art, small-batch goods, and vibrant community markets, then this is a must-visit fair for you.
DuPage County Fair (July 24-27)
Another county fair near Chicago, where you can expect everything from livestock shows to agricultural displays, carnival rides, amazing food, and live music. This place is about 25 miles from downtown Chicago, in suburban Wheaton, in DuPage County. This is a paid fair.
Out of Space (Skokie) (July 24-27)
The festival is held in Skokie, just north of Chicago, at the Illinois Science & Technology Park Field. It’s a must for anyone who loves outdoor music festivals. The main spotlight is on her important period of work during her only European trip in 1939 and her profound friendship with American avant-garde bookbinder Mary Reynolds. To see this collection, you need an extra $5 entry ticket in addition to the general museum admission ticket.
